Aug. 27th, 2018 09:55 am![]() IT'S FORTUNATE THAT YOU'VE COME. It’s an innocent mistake. You’re an officer chasing a runaway car or a detective following a convenient lead. Maybe you’re a starship adventurer traveling the universe when your teleporter suddenly alerts you to a malfunction. Or a noble hero, part of a caravan trekking out to some wayward village that has reportedly been plagued by bandits. Or perhaps you’re simply walking home from school one day, down the same route you’ve taken a hundred times before, kicking up Autumn leaves as you waste time. However you start your journey, it all leads to the same place: a dusty, worn out road leading to a town you’ve never been to before. It might not even be on the same planet you’re used to and it certainly isn’t on any known map. As you follow the paved street with nowhere else to really go, you realize that the light is fading. If you’re taking some form of transportation, at this point bad luck strikes. Your car, motorcycle, or whatever vehicle you might have dies without warning, as if being in range of the town sucked the life right out of it. You’re not the only one - every so often, you can spot the rusted out corpse of someone else’s vehicle, perpetually stranded by the side of the road. With no other civilization in sight and the air growing cold, heading for town is your best option. There are noises, distant, coming from the woods - a snapping twig, a far-off growl, noises that scream ‘beware’. On your way, you pass a sign, weathered paint spelling out the words “Welcome to Faith’s Fortune”. You sure are fortunate you’re not stranded out in the wilderness with hungry wild animals and the harsh elements, right? Maybe it’s a lucky sign after all. Faith’s Fortune is a pan-fandom, supernatural horror-based game where characters face both physical and psychological threats while trying to escape the small town setting they have become trapped in. The game’s overarching plot will focus on characters working together in order to solve the persistent problems and curses that seem to plague the town, including trying to uncover a means of escape from their own unfortunate circumstances. The game primarily takes inspiration from works like Alan Wake, The Mist, X-Files, Eternal Darkness, and Friday the 13th: The Series. While no single canon or work defines the setting or events, the atmosphere and tone of Faith’s Fortune will be drawing on the pseudo-80’s horror and dark fairytale themes throughout. ![]() ![]() ![]() PREMISE | RULES | FAQ | LOCATIONS | BESTIARY | MODS FULL NAVIGATION profile by tricklet |

wildstorm comics, authoriteens icons
Mar. 18th, 2012 07:28 pmSome Authoriteens icons from those few issues of Gen13 volume 4. Because I could. They're adorable, alright? The scans I had to work with weren't the best quality and it's hard to icon for characters that literally had one arc, but...

Some icons of Larten Crepsley (and two of Madam Octa) from the movie Cirque du Freak: The Vampire's Assistant. I screencapped the movie myself and had to edit basically all of them to be light enough to be useable, so please credit if you want to use them.
